Seeking founding partners

Factory farming can only exist because it operates in the dark.

We turn the lights on.

A new watchdog organisation built to strip industrial animal agriculture of its social license — by exposing structural deception and making the true costs impossible to ignore.

The problem

Industrial animal agriculture is a systemic hazard hiding in plain sight

Factory farming causes demonstrable harm to human health, the environment, and animals at enormous scale — yet it operates behind a wall of misleading marketing, opaque supply chains, and unchallenged regulatory capture.

80B+

Land animals are slaughtered for food every year. The vast majority spend their entire lives in confinement — routine suffering that is not an accident, but a design feature of the industrial system.

80%

of global antibiotic use occurs in industrial animal agriculture — a primary driver of antimicrobial resistance, one of the most urgent public health threats of our time.

14.5%

of global greenhouse gas emissions come from livestock supply chains — yet products are routinely marketed as "sustainable" and "climate-friendly."

$1T+

in annual subsidies and hidden costs are absorbed by taxpayers and public health systems while the industry externalises harm and socialises losses.

Zero

mandatory front-of-pack health warnings exist on processed meats — despite WHO classification as a Group 1 carcinogen, on par with tobacco.

The gap we fill

This infrastructure doesn't exist in Belgium yet

Belgium is one of the most intensive factory farming nations in Europe. Animal welfare organisations focus on animals. Environmental groups focus on climate. No organisation is running a sustained, evidence-based campaign to hold the industry accountable for the full spectrum of harm — and to make that harm socially and financially costly. We are building that infrastructure.

What exists

Welfare campaigners

Focus on animal suffering. Powerful emotionally, but easily dismissed by industry as activist fringe. Limited legal and economic leverage.

What exists

Environmental advocates

Focus on climate and land use. Strong on data, but rarely connect systemic harm to consumer deception or legal accountability.

What we do

An industrial animal agriculture watchdog

We combine investigative exposure, counter-narrative campaigns, and legal pressure to raise the social and financial cost of association with industrial animal agriculture. We treat the industry the way tobacco was eventually treated — as a documented public hazard requiring structural reform.

Our foundation

Mission and strategy

Mission

Strip industrial animal agriculture of its social and legal license

By exposing corporate deception and driving a systemic shift toward a transparent, plant-based food system.

How we work

Overarching strategy and supporting strategies

One strategy we own and direct — resourced and amplified by three supporting strategies that make the shift both credible and visible.

Own · Direct

Truth & consequences

Bring transparency to the food system by exposing hidden corporate practices and misleading claims. Enforce accountability through public advocacy, political pressure, and legal action.

Partner · Resource

Credible messengers, not industry campaigners

Equip doctors, dietitians, and trusted health voices to dismantle meat and dairy health claims with scientific authority.

Support · Influence

Make the shift visible

Make the shift to plant-based visible, so the behaviour shift is observable — for social norms to change and decision-makers to move.

Support · Influence

Awareness that good alternatives exist

Show consumers and markets exactly how to easily replace the industry's products.

We're looking for founding partners who believe accountability changes industries.

Tobacco took decades of sustained exposure, public pressure, and regulatory action before it faced a real reckoning. The same forces are what it takes to shift any entrenched industry. We're building the organisation that applies that pressure to industrial animal agriculture — strategically, relentlessly, and from day one.

We're open to conversations with philanthropic foundations at this early stage.
